From 19 October 2019 to 16 February 2020 Turin will host the great exhibition “Hokusai Hiroshige Hasui. A journey in a changing Japan ”. The event will be held at the Pinacoteca Agnelli and will see the exhibition of the major works of three great artists from the Land of the Rising Sun: Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige and Kawase Hasui.

The exhibition, curated by Rossella Menegazzo, represents a true and true own journey through some of the most evocative and characteristic places of Japan, whether real or imaginary, told through the over 100 extraordinary woodcuts of the three great masters. On the one hand we will find Hokusai and Hiroshige, masters of the nineteenth-century “Floating World“, and on the other Hasui, an exponent painter of the shin hanga movement. Through their works and their points of view, it will be possible to admire the evolution of the Japanese country, which took place between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, due to the first contacts with the West. Our hotel is just a few minutes by car from the city of Turin, always very rich in cultural events and activities for all tastes. Book a room now!
